Dr. Sachin Goel

Dr. Sachin Goel M.D. is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He has been in practice since 2000.

Medical Director, Pancreas Hepatobiliary Malignancy Program. Serves on the GI subcommittee for the Wellstar Cancer Program.

Dr. Goel received his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.

Dr. Goel has co-authored several publications. Dr. Goel has been named one of Atlanta’s Magazine’s “Top Doctors” nine years running (2014 – 2022), a Castle Connelly Top Doctor for 2021-2023, a Top Doctor by The Atlantan Magazine (2022) and a “Top Doctor” by Georgia Trend Magazine in 2023. He has also earned several honors and awards to include, Outstanding Teacher Award, Annual Award for Outstanding Scholarly Activity, Roerig Prize, Young Investigator Presentation and Scholar program, and Dean’s List. He is a fellow of the American Gastroenterology Association (AGAF), and a member of both the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Goel is married with two children. His hobbies are photography and music.
