Dr. Michael J. Grupka

Dr. Michael Grupka is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with a practice spanning since 2008. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in General Biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, and his Medical Degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. Dr. Grupka completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Connecticut, where he also undertook his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, serving as Chief Fellow in the Division of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Grupka’s academic and professional excellence has been recognized through numerous honors, including the Dean’s List, Chancellor’s List, Iota Epsilon Alpha Honor Society, and the Presidential Poster of Distinction. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and was honored as a “Top Doctor” by Georgia Trend Magazine in 2023.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Grupka enjoys a variety of activities including tennis, golf, skiing, hiking, solving crosswords, and reading. He is married and has one child.
