The team of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist providers at GI Specialists of Georgia has extensive experience in personalized care giving within each of our Gastroenterology specific Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Each of the CRNA’s are licensed and certified by the National Board of Certification/Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), and are Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified. The CRNA’s are employees of GI Specialists of Georgia, and therefore are held to the same pursuit of excellence standards that exist throughout our practice.
On the day of your procedure, the CRNA will review your records and perform a pre-anesthesia evaluation to create an individualized plan of care for your procedure. A comprehensive history and physical is performed at your bedside, and an explanation of the recommended anesthesia to be provided is given. The type of anesthesia used will depend on your general health as well as the procedure being performed. The CRNA will then discuss the anesthesia plan of care with you, answer any questions and address any concerns prior to your procedure.
Our mission is to provide the safest and most comfortable patient experience that will extend to the families, friends, and assigned caregivers. We appreciate your trust and look forward to your visit.
